Guys I need help with my fuel pressure. I went to the track to make a few passes. Everytime I launched the car at the light, the engine would rev and then bog out. As soon as I ease of the gas pedal the car would start to pick up revs again until i reach full thottle and then it would bog out again. I think its my fuel pressure, cause when i returned to the pit area my fuel pressure gauge was at 34psi. I just set the pressure before I made the pass at 43psi with the vacum line unplugged. I did notice that my fuel pressure gauge thats mounted on the fuel rail had gas inside the face of the gauge. Is it possible that my fuel regulator is starting to fail. Im running the mini ram intake with the adjustable fuel regulator.
What kind of AFPR do you have? Sounds like the diaphram is gone or starting to go. When my diaphram shredded it sent gas up in my intake. I have the TPIS model, which reuses the stock diaphram.
Your fuel tank is too low. A hard launching C4 will need at least 1/2 to prevent a bog due to fuel sloshing away from the pick-up. My car needs to read 3/4 tank to prevent a bog once in a while when I am at the track.
Was the 34PSi when you returned to the pits with the vacuum line disconnected or connected?

Remove the gauge from the rail if it's leaking. This is could be the start of your troubles there might be pressure leaking from it now & could develop a fuel leak. See how it runs with the gauge removed.
Yes, my fuel level was low. The guage was on 1/4. and the fuel pressure gauge was at 34 psi with the vacum line attached. I called TPIS and asked about the regulator, He informed me that the regulator wasn't my problem due to my pressure was still being regulated either too high or to low. Thanks guys I,m going to try your suggestions with the fuel level and guage replacement. I'll post the results later.
Thanks again
