You don't know it but I read a post were you advised a fellow C4 owner about a flickering LCD in the dash. You told him to take it out and clean the contacts with electric cleaner to get the oxidation off. It worked perfectly!!!
It has been driving me nuts for a couple years and was getting worse so I tore the dash apart and cleaned the connections and even better replaced the bulbs. The monkey is off my back.
