just put new runners and ported plenum on my car and my car is hard to start but when it does start, it needs constant fuel to stay running. A friend of mine had the car running while i was listening and i heard air being sucked from the back of the plenum area. all bolts are good except the one that goes behind the runners on the drivers side. Will not having this bolt in cause a leak like that or is it something else?

It is something else leaking back there....the threaded runner bolt holes do not open into the plenum area.
i tried putting that bolt in and it wouldnt thread so i took off the runners again to check out the gaskets and get a good look at evertything. when i looked at where the bolt would go theres just some little hole there that the bolt wouldnt fit in.
I did get the bolt to stay in and it still leaked so looks like another long day tomorrow. I do have to say though its kinda fun
