Lowering C4
Does anyone have the link to lowering the front? Or the guy who was lowering the front and didnt use the spacers,I am wndering how that worked for him before i start on my front this weekend.

I tried to get into the Tech Tips section for it but can't?!?! It wants me to log in and I tried my current and past user IDs and all I get is HTTP 404...
Seems like a pretty valuable resource to lose. Maybe this is old news...

I don't see what the problem was/is. I'm guessing the tech tips were on the same servers or whatever as the regualr forum.

I lowered the front of my 89' this past weekend. I used no parts, just remove the spring and sawed the rubber off the top to leave a 1/4" on the spring. My spring had 2 aluminum plates between the rubber and the frame, I moved these under the spring clamps and sawed 5/8" off the clamps.
It takes 6 hrs and it lowered the front 3/4". It's work, there are some that say 3-4 hrs, I say "show me". I am a decent mechanic, at times in my life I have done it to put food on the table, it takes 6 hrs.
