What is the most money you have found when you have cleaned out a car, or dissassembled it for one reason or another?
Well I have my car pretty much stripped to nothing. Between the change under the carpet that was under the drivers seat, and the change under and around both seats, and also in the console (Looks like the change can fall out of that change thing really easy and get trapped between the side of the console and the tunnel) I found some cash in my car. I found in excess of $30.00 Dollars in change! Even my car is chipping in on the build! You know the car will turn out good when even the car wants to chip in for parts!
In a Camaro I used to own, I found an old dried up Joint under the carpet and a syringe in the dash behind the stereo. I just glad I did not stick myself with the needle while reaching in digging out wires with my fingers. Who knows what was the original owner had.
My best is about $7. It was in/around/under the drivers seat of a C4 ZR1 that I detailed one tie.
I used to detail cars at a used car dealership part time. One of the other detailers found an envelope with $1000 in it under the trunk mat of a car the dealership bought at an auction.
As an aside, this doesn't really seem like a technical post?
i found a rolled up hundred in the defrost duct work.probally some druggie!there loss my gain.yeeee hawww

When I bought my '55 Belair, it ran out of gas on my way home, even though it still read 3/4 on the gauge.
I figured it was a dead sending unit, so I put $5 worth of gas, and took it to a friends shop with a lift, and
proceeded to drop the tank to change the sender.....even though it had to be pretty low on gas, the
sucker was still pretty heavy...we pulled it down an it clunked....
I took it to a radiator shop to have them split it, and clean it while they had it apart, and inside was this
aluminum box (with really nice welds I might add), and in it was some very compacted pot.

I found a used condom (old and a dried up load in it), in one car and a nasty old tampon in another. Both were found under the passenger seats. On the bright side, I did find a wallet under the back seat when I pulled it out. It had $125 in the billfold.
I found a load of what we thought to be Cocaine in a repossessed car that a neighbor and I bought to fix up and sell. We didn't want to mess with the police and we were both anti-drug types so we washed it down the street with the water hose.
