Re: Custom Interior Work, what does everyone think... (bwagner)
The paint seemed to want to crinkle at some of the corners so I had to sand off some of the old rubber or whatever was on the plastic. Other than that, things went pretty smooth. The wheelskins cover took about 2 hours though

This "old rubber or whatever" this is a coat they put on from the factory. I also had to remove it. Once that stuff starts coming off you have to take it all off for it to look good.

I definately reccomend the wheelskins cover as it really set off the rest of the interior work! That was my girlfriends favorite part too. Just make sure you lace it as tight as you can :yesnod:

Yeah I have the red one, as you see in my pics, but it doesn't really match well with the other red. So I'm getting the Torch Red now that matches better.

Not bad at all!!!! Good job. Although, now you got me thinking. Looks good with your 94+ white buttons (or was that 95 they changed the buttons?). I think it might not look too good with the orange ones I got (93):U . Hmmmmmm. Good attempt at the brushed aluminum look, though. Gives me a real good idea at what a kit like that would look like. :yesnod: Thanks!
