I yanked the hose off the EGR solonoid. Can the solonoid be removed or no? The rest of the EGR is gone....What does solonoid do? How would I block it off once it's removed. Pics would be GREAT!

This is on the drivers side under the plenum. I got the piece that goges by the distributor and the piece that goes under the plenum. This is a small black box drivers front right by the throttle body.

It's pretty simple, Ecm driven - when activated, vacuum flows to the valve -but since the vacuum source is shared with the Canister solenoid, keep the line - unless you've removed that too.
