Thanks for the help.
For all those who helped me with my power stearing problem, I would like to say thanks for you help. :flag I decided that since my car has over 155K miles on it I should just replace the rack and pinion, pump, and the hoses. Might as well do it right the first time. Good idea? For those of you interested, after I recieve all my core charges the job is going to cost $240 to do myself. Thats 135 for rack, 54 for pump, and 60 for hoses and tools.

I think thats a great way to go..I did the same thing with my 86...figured why not do it all once then worry about something else failing down there.
Keep us posted how it comes out..personally I believe its going to feel like a whole new car again.I couldnt believe the difference after the rack/pump and hose change.
Be sure to get an alignment asap after the jobs done.
