Walbro 255 Reliability
Hello there,
In looking for a fuel pump for my IROC, I stumbled across this setup from Summit:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/VPN-GCA758-2/
Whats the reliability of something like this on a stock (for now) daily driver? Anyone had issues?
I'd like to do this once and thats it...

More people use Walbro 255 pumps than probably any other aftermarket pump ever made. Ever. They are in everything on the road.

I've had those pumps in several cars and never had a problem. The price on the Summit site is about twice what I paid from Racetronix when they had their recent sale.

I put a Walbro 255 on my Vette 3-4 years ago and have had no problems or issues.

I use a Walbro 255 in my DSM, aside from needing a new FPR I've never had any problems with it. It's loud as hell, but I like that

Wow, how much louder than a stocker? I drive this thing everyday so I'm not sure I want a loud pump.

I have one in my DD I don't hear it.
Don't fall for really cheap walbros from some of the E sellers since there are a bunch of chinese counterfeit Walbros out there.

I've had one in mine for about a year, Walbro 340 I think. No problems here.
