Default Odd Acceleration Issue...

About a year ago everyone on here helped me with my bogging down issue... as I was accelerating, the harder I would push the gas the more it would want to slow down and stall out. It was the Mass airflow sensor burnoff and mass airflow sensor power on relays. About a week ago, it began happening again.

I replaced the MAF burnoff and power on relays again (it was throwing 33 and 34 codes once again.. but I also bought MAF cleaner as well, so not quite sure what exactly it was..), and some of the other relays were original, so I replaced: fuel pump cutoff circuit relay, and fuel pump relay.

I took apart the throttle body and cleaned it thoroughly, as I'm pretty sure the IAC sensor hadn't had air even touch it for years, as there was enough carbon covering it to make a pencil with.

I've checked all the vacuum lines, no leaks, took apart the fuel pressure regulator to make sure none of the seals were torn, and everything was fine. The car has a lot of power.

All of the codes are gone, expect 22, which I'm fairly sure the TPS is shot, it's original and overly sensitive. When I tried to set it to the .54 recommended... breathing on it would cause it to jump between .40 and .85, so I will be replacing that tomorrow.

After putting it all back together, it runs a lot better, but still... around 2200 - 2600 RPM, and thats with the gas pedal to the floor, it will just bounce around between that range.. and then a few seconds later, the RPMs will climb like normal. If I just gradually press on the pedal, it goes through the RPM range without hesitation. It doesn't do this all of time . Really I only notice this when pulling out on a highway, or passing/getting on it.

I've run a couple cans of Seafoam through a few full tanks of gas so far this summer, I only put 93 octane in it, air filter (K&N) is good, fuel filter was replaced last year, checked the EGR system, PCV...

Wondering if there is something simple I'm missing?

Did you check the Fuel Pump/Fuel filter and the Fuel pressure at the rail?

Well picked up the new TPS... installed.. reset the ECU (pulled the fuse to reset the codes)... it ran great... for about an hour.. then right back to the same problem... and started throwing code 22 again "TPS voltage to high or low/cannot set idle speed OR Fuel cutoff relay circuit open or grounded." Here's the weird thing, I seem to have an unknown relay mounted to the inner wheel well, inside the engine compartment. It looks exactly like a fuel pump relay, but it when you look inside the plug and the relay, it's missing the 4th wire on the plug and 4th pin on the relay....

Here's a pic of the engine compartment and where' it's at in relation to the others....

and here's a close up of the relay itself... as you can see it's mounted to the wheel well inside the engine compartment. People have told me my year (1987.. some parts places have referred to it as a late 87) does not have a Fuel Cut Off relay... so what could it be? and what would cause code 22?

Thanks... looks like the original bracket may have broke and the original owner used the plastic push pins to hold it...
