So with a Super Ram and ZZ-9 Cam, valve springs, Gold roller rockers, (7/16 studs) headers, cat back exhaust, K&N cut lid intake and other small things like pullies. What could I expect to be running?? I want to be about mid-12s. I dont feel this will be enough. (89 6spd Coupe) And is this the best way of getting down there??? Thanks guys
If you want a superram, then get an Accel 219 cam, not a ZZ9
Exactly!!! As has been stated above ...a ZZ9 was designed for a high RPM motor. TPIS even says this on their website. A superram will let you rev a little higher, but not nearly enough to take advantage of that cam's profile.
why would they put a chip in that early in the build up..they could acheive better times with a finely customized chip for their set up. Oh well, still some nice e/t times. Lol when I hit 11's, it better be over 110 mph.
