I have a realy good manual, Will look through it tonight & see if I could find something that may help.

I know what you are going through (Trust Me ).. I just bought an 84 that had sat for 15 years, This car has so much work that needs to be done, I got it running pretty good tho,
Have not realy done to much mechanicly yet, as I am doing the interior right now.
But every time I fix something it seems like I found something else wrong..

Don't give up,

Will post later after work what I found in my manual..

Ant...

Ok, I know this is going to sound against all "do it yourself" guys.

Since you are near Atlanta call the Jim Ellis Chevy dealership and set up an appointment with Dave Fulcher. He has been working on Corvettes for a long while and is one of the ace mechanics in the area.

Forgot - caliper spread is found by looking at the pad taper. pads should wear evenly, since the caliper moves around a lot its possible for the caliper to spread and pads wear unevenly. Uneven wear can cause uneven breaking.

Nope didnt replace it. it seems tight.

BUT UPDATE: I drove it this morning , and under hard braking it pulled to the right. ( its always pulled left till now.) Thats not good but at least its different. It complcates things, but maybe its a new part to the puzzle....

Wow, Thats a long time I think this car sat about 7 to 9 years, I glad its not just me that deals with these kinds of problems.... Are you changing the color of the int , or staying the same?

Obviously one of your front brakes is working more than the other. You could jack the front of the car up and see if the right front is working at all. If not, you need to take the line off at the caliper and see if sufficient fluid is coming through, if not you'll need to clean the lines out from the master cylinder to the right front. It should really squirt out when the brake pedal is pressed. If sufficient fluid is coming through then the problem is in that caliper. If the car has sat for a long time it may have some rust or dirt in the line, even if you replaced the old parts with new ones the dirt could still be in there.

Thanks For the input. I replaced rubber lines and steel lines, calipers and master.

If I open the line for gravity bleeding with resievorcap off, how much fluid should come out ? A drip? A steady stream?, A fast drip? Sould the dripping be the same at all calipers or different because of the length of brake lines?
