It says that some GM vehicles transmit data on different terminals, most cars are M and E, some cars use terminal D
Does my car use terminals M and E? or does it use a different one?

From the aldl cable site "This cable works on cars that have the serial data pin on pin M or pin E of the GM 12 pin OBD1 ALDL connector, which is most every 1982 to 1995 GM car. Pin M indicates 8192 baud and pin E indicates 160 baud rate serial communication speed." The 85 vette didn't have the M pin, it transmits on pin E at the 160 baud rate.
