Default Partial spark plug firing.

Is it possible to have plugs that fire partially? My #1 and #2 cylinders do not seem to firing correctly. I used a heat gun to check the temp at the header on each cylinder. It was noticeably lower on these two cylinders.

Actually a tough question cause there are so many possibilities. Rather than a straight answer let me ask you some questions. Compared to the other 6 cylinders how do the cooler cylinders compare to the following:

Plugs

Wire resistance

cap

compression

injector ohms

I am sure there are others but you get the idea.

Try replacing the 2 plugs and then check for a vaccum leak.

Thanks
Turns out it was a push rod issue. Got it all squared away.

What led you to a pushrod?

Nothing major I just had the wrong length rods and the valves weren't working correctly. See my "Parts for a cam swap" thread".

Mainly I wasn't satisfied that the RR's I had that were so quiet before were now rattling like a diesel. The rods were binding against the guide plates. No harm done got it all square away and the car runs great. At least on the stands. I hope to get it down today.
