You can do one in the middle or two spread out a bit. Just make sure you don't put the bill in too far, or in an area where the bolt plates are, or it might get pinched. All we are concerned about is the front lens pressure on the gasket. The bill/s only needs to be inserted about 1.5".
whay should the gap be across the back. mine i way of. the drivers side has 3/8 of an inch more gap in the back than the passenger side . plus it kinda looks like the drivers side has a gap between the windshield and top and the passenger side looks like its all the way down . i think thats whats causing the wind noise on the drivers side window at the top of the window. any help i would be extreamly thankfull for as i have to go to phoenix and this could drive me nuts.

Could be, but most often wind noise comes from where the side roof weatherstrip meets the windshield weatherstrip.
I know this is not apart of the installation. But what do you use to clean the underside of the lense?
On my Melrose top, there are 2 small black dots under the lense. I believe they are sealant or something that dripped on the lense when it was getting made that didn't get wiped up. I would like to get that cleaned off.

Here at our shop we use broken pieces of acrylic which usually pops any primer off the lens. Try your fingernail.
