You didn't mention what year you have, but LT1's don't come with flat tops. There is a slight dish to them.
I went with flat tops and have 11.55:1 compression, so unless you're looking for a high compression, you might want to stay away from the flat tops.

Yep. The max around here is 92, and when going back through my logs I am getting some retard (which means there is slight pinging). I'm going to have to back the timing off while I'm here in oklahoma, because right now it requires octane booster to keep this thing from retarding a bit.
