I can see the door switch affecting the bell and the interior lights, but not the fog lights.

Off hand I could not even venture a valid guess. It almost sounds like a grounding problem but I think that might also be a stretch. However the way I would approach it is to target in on only one of the items. Find the one easiest to work on and access. And by using the FSM drawings I would find a link between any brake wiring either hot or return wiring and the item you are going to resolve first.

Could be headlight switch causing fog light/interior light issue-check connector that goes into headlight switch for melting of connector or burnt wires.Could be cut in a power wire(brakes) thus supplying power to fog light etc.Disconnect brake switch & see if same problem exists.
