interior lights and convertible switch out
I'm a little stumped. After changing my brake light switch I realized that the interior door lights don't come on when I open either door and the convertible hatch switch doesn't work anymore.
I'm not sure if I disconnected anything related under the dash but the door lights do come on if I turn them on manually by depressing the light itself.
Is the convertible switch on the door and door lights related in any way? Could it be a fuse or did I mess up something in the big thick wiring mess that goes through the door?
Thanks
Lee
There is a footwell light on the lower driverside hush/knee bolster panel that should come "on" when the rest of the interior lighting does....you had to remove this lighting wire along with the hush panel to get access to the brake switch.....you might want to take a look there to see if the wire for that light is shorting out or dragging down the rest of the interior circuit somehow.
