If I was in a different state I would do the heads, cam and longtubes. California banned methanol injection so I'm also limited on supercharging. A few people warned me that I could blow the engine because the stock pistons won't hold up very long.
I should probably move.
Want to trade places for awhile.By the way my sidewalk needs to be shoveled. And its 5 degrees out.And the roads here a crap. And theres salt everywhere.Did I mention my corvette is in storage

Yes, a retune would definitely be needed after a supercharger install. And no, an off-the-shelf chip like a Hypertech or Jet won't cut it. That doesn't mean the engine won't run... it just means it won't run properly.
Most good supercharging kits will come with a replacement EPROM, but these are programmed on the "safe" side, meaning they tend to run the engine rich to avoid detonation and pinging. More often than not a retune is still going to be required to optimize everything. But any good experienced shop can do that without much cost or effort.

The bolt on kit manufacturers (ProCharger, Vortech) recommend to use the factory chip when running their products. They are very clear in the instruction manuals to detail that you are not to run the "off the shelf" chips (i.e. Jet, Hypertech, etc.) as they all add timing and fuel which may be detrimental to the life of your engine with their supercharger package.
