Code 36 and 42 HELP!!

Code 36 and 42 HELP!!
Can you guys help me out. I know you guys have faced this before. I have so many new parts on this car and still things pop up. Starts but no throttle response but the codes indicate ignition problems. 4th optispark and only have 20 miles on the one that is in there now......HELP ME!!!

The code 36 is the opti high pulse missing. Could be the opti or the PCM might not be processing the data correctly or a bad connection.
The code 42 is igniting control circuit shorted. If the engine is running I question that codes validity. So I would clear the codes and see if they return.
Does this mean that it idles and RPM does not go up? If so check the throttle linkage and TPS to see if it is working. Check the 5 volts off the wiper to see if it is functioning electrically. If it is, could be a bad connection back to the PCM.

I bought my opti off of flebay and feel that my be the problem. I am on my third one. I hate that frekin thing!! The car will run great then when it chooses it runs but only at idle then dies. It will restart and run for a while to get me home but that is it. I have new opti, new opti plug, new plug wires, plugs, new computer, battery, and more. I am pretty sure I put a new ignition module in it as well but I have replaced so much I forgot. I will check my files tomorrow to see if I did do one. I am thinking better opti or IM. PCM is brand new.
