I have a 1986 Corvette that started with a problem of pulling to the right when breaking. I have replaced both front calipers, with the same issues. I replaced both front brake lines, same issue again. Replaced front pads, same issue. The one thing that I have noticed is that with the front end off the ground, I cannot rotate the driver's side wheel with ease, it is like someone is pressing the brake pedal. The passenger side turns freely and stops turning when the brakes is applied.
On the driver's side, if I disconnect the brake line to the caliper, the pressure is released and the wheel turns freely. If I apply the brakes again, the same wheel will tighten up and not release until you brake the line open again. It just does this on the driver's side front. Anyone experienced this weird issue? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

OK, lots of diagnosis done. I have a similar issue on my 92, passenger side on mine.
Its not as bad as yours, just shows up under heavy braking (like 120+ > 60/50).
Since mine is around 20 years old this is my plan:
Remove booster and master.
Remove the "soft lines" to the calipers.
See if I can "flush" the hard lines and see if there is any corrosion inside the lines.
Do what I can to check to operation of the ABS parts.
I'll put on a new master, booster, calipers, rotors, "soft" lines after that. We'll see in Feb if it fixes my early lockup before turns at CMP.
