Spark Plug Wire ?
the dizzy in the pic IS a 'small' HEI but the pick-up/reluctor are BIG HEI, j.i.c. you ever need to replace.
strongly recommend DOUBLE CLAMPS on your fuel hoses.
Your gonna laugh at me. I sat here staring at this pic for a bit then it hit me!
Stupid me knows that the firing order on a chevy V8 is 18436572 NOT 18765432. I think in a bit of excitment of finishing this project I just wasn't thinking!
I do appreciate all your guys responses. I'll still get to play with the timing. And tomorrow I will make my change and post where it starts or not.
chev v-8 'classic' firing order is 18436572... but current fad is '4-7 swap' with 'modded' camshaft and plug wire swapping, demonstrating some slight gains in certain apps.
on a much more serious note, we used push-lok hose and fittings in commercial material handling systems with high success,mostly pneumatic service, and DID see a few rare 'hose blow off'...clamps are good, be sure the clamps 'bear' on the 'small' part of the barb, not on 'bulge'.

just 'had to' go and visit their site just this second...raises my confidence in 'car-bone' from previous low.
suggest you visually verify that dizzy drops completely to hold-down flange vs manifold boss, proof that AAP gave you p/n 30-1830 (or 84-1830) for 92 camo and NOT p/n 30-1831...30-1831 is for 91 caprice 305/others and is very similar in appearance, however the 'body' of 30-1831 is slightly larger than the 92 camo dizzy body and may NOT drop in far enough to engage the oil pump if manifold dizzy hole is 'typical sbc'....30-1831 may only turn dizzy (engine runs, NO OIL PRESSURE, replace all rod/main bearings
)
Pushing that blue hose on the pushloc was a royal PITA. I used lube, heat and pushed on as far as I could. The supply line you see in the pic was the first one I did and as you noticed didn't go on all the way. I may cut the hose and use another fitting.
On several occasions so far I've had my fuel pressure as high as 60 and looked for leaks. I even replaced the two rubber hoses at the gas tank. Basically any old hose on there was replaced with the blue. I don't want any unexpected problems... and thanks for your advice.
