I discovered my gauge's hose can't make the bend to connect to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. Stumped. What's the trick, or who makes a right-angle adapter? It's always something ...
you can usually get those adapters at NAPA, Autozone, etc.
I tried NAPA yesterday and spent about an hour looking at various suppliers on the internet - no luck. What I need is a 90 degree Schrader female to male fitting.
Mine is also tight. My gauge is also difficult to get the threads caught to screw on. I have to work with it for a while to get it lined up. It took me some time to find a gauge that would work in that tight area.
Does your FP gauge have a rubber hose to connect to the schrader valve? I know with mine, I found it easier to disconnect the two small vacuum lines that attach to the manifold right underneath the schrader valve. It's definitely tight, but it will eventually go.
The hose is a high pressure braided reinforced hose that's just not quite flexible enough. I'll probably get a new hose, but I hoped that you folks out there had found some kind of 90 degree adaptor. Thanks anyhow guys ...

Purchased some years ago, a Hypertech Fuel Pressure Gauge. It came with a 90 degree adaptor end.
