What was the track temperature (must of been a low d/a)? Thought you sold that thing?

Either way 121 is moving for your combo richy rich!

That is great ! Especially with the I assume front fatties on that 121 mph......

I've always felt a 383 -219-Superram motor could hit a 10 second et.... I was going to try to get their myself years ago, but didn't keep going with it, quit at a 11.3x @ 119.....

Your 121 mph is getting real close.... throw on some front skinnies, maybe find a few lbs to dump and I suspect you have a tight 3000 rpm converter based upon that high 1.5 60 ft, thus loosen that up to around 3600 rpm, and I'd bet a nickel you could run a 10.9x @ 122 ish..... would be close, but very doable.

For such a docile no-maintenance car..... that would be an outstanding et.....

congrats !

Todd as allways it great to see your around still. I did send off a email to PI on the tourqe converter. I think they do a free stall change? I was thinking in the 3800 range suggested by Corky.

Very nice! You can tell by your et vs. mph that you had some traction issues.

I still chime in every now and then around here.... not like the old days, but short on time these days.

I kind of agree with Corky.....I have always felt a 3600-3800 rpm converter is optimum for max et out of a 383 Superram motor, but never ran one.... your results will be interesting to me.

The reason I had felt this was by accident I was once in between intakes, but needed to make a points race, so I put on a stock TPI on my 383, which still had the Vig 3k converter.... and surprisingly, that converter was "absolutely perfect" for the TPI set-up..... most would consider it too lose for a TPI, but it wasn't, it melded with the tpi perfectly, meaning the "actual" flash rpm landed in the "exact" spot it needed for the tpi, yet was perfect street manners..... thus, it becomes logical that another 800 rpm would then be perfect for the Superram..... but never tried it. Or at least in theory....

I guestimate a 1.46 60 ft if you do it.....

good luck ! As far as I know... if you make the 10's with that combination, you'll be the first.
