Default Codes from paperclip method

Did the paperclip method on 94 auto 105k, heres what came up

12c

1. ---
4. h13 and h44
9. h31 and h33
A---
1.0---

Recently I have replaced my entire opti, all plugs, wires and waterpump. After putting the car back together it started right up on the first try thanks to all the direction i got from you guys. But lately it seems to be running very rich and I can smell it in the exhaust. When the car is being driven or at a stop light in gear it breaks up or runs rough for only a minute or two then stops and all is normal and the service engine light is on for a minute or two then turns off can anyone tell what the codes mean I dont have a FCM..I just dumped tons of money into replacing all these parts and now i'm worried I need something else$$$

Here are a list of the PCM codes (module 4).

It looks like you might have a O2 sensor that has gone out is the reason it is going rich. Probably if you had a scanner the BLM (fuel trim numbers) would indicate to rich.

I would start out clearing the codes and see what returns. Then zero in on what reoccurs.

Check the wiring to the O2 sensors and make sure you have a good connection to the temp sensor on the front of the water pump.

pcolt 94 thank you my car is def running rich the fuel economy has been very inconsistent since I repalced everything. I disconnected the battery after performing the clip method and the codes still stand in module 4 13 and 44. I checked all the connections very carefully when I reassembled the car, I was very thorough..and i cleaned all connectors as well. My ? is are codes 13 and 44 for the same bad part? my second question is are these sensors located right on the exhaust before it hits the cats? Are they expensive and is this something I can replace or is a pro needed?

Code 13 tells you there is a problem in bank 1 with O2 sensor.
Code 44 tells you it is in bank 1 and is a lean condition. (the same part more description).

But you say that it looks rich to you, it looks like it does not (on the surface) coincide with the code 44 and what you see visually and think. That’s why scanner would be good to see exactly what the numbers are. I believe if a O2 sensor goes bad and the voltage does not swing, the PCM goes rich to be on the side of safety and not get the mixture to lean. Or in other words, if the O2 went to lean, the PCM might over ride and give a rich signal to the injectors.
