Drop 1/4 time need help?
Hi everyone this is my first post. I was hoping someone could help.I have a 86 vette with cast iron heads its completely stock as far as i know, except for the catalytic converter is hollow. I just had a jasper remanufactured engine and transmission installed and,I am looking to drop a 1 second off my 1/4 time without effecting the warranty I have a limited budget now so in the cheapest possible manner. Any help would be great, Thankyou all Ron :confused:

Click into my webpage within my signature and then into the "Proven Set-ups" section.... there are 2 vettes listed in the section of interest to you, Steven N's vette and Vic G's vette..... both did mild and inexpensive modifications, however they were very effective modifications that have turned their stock motors into competitors with virtually any make and model stock Corvette.

I just wanted to thank everyone for thier replys :) My car is an automatic. I was wondering if anybody knew what the stock gears are for the 86 are they 3.07?

The stock gears are 2.73:1, if you have the option code G92, then you have the Performance Axle Ratio, 3.07:1
