Default Methanol Kit Question

I have a high compression 87 c4, with a compression ratio of 13:1. A higher octane is required, I generally run 110 octane. My question is there any hp gains from using a methonal/water injection kit on a naturally aspirated setup? If so, do anyone have any suggestions of a good kit that they might of have used.

Thanks

Had one on my Z, came on at 3/4 throttle. Running real methanol leaned the hell out of it,(way too much) youd need to tune just forit. Most use a 50/50 mix of windshield washer fluid/water, guess it gives a smallish amount of methanol. Kept it from pinging, wouldnt expect some big power gain.
Run better gas.

They've been around since the '70s. It's for anti-detonation; It really won't give you any power itself, but It will allow you to run more Timeing which can sometimes add HP. Depends on how much Timeing the Motor wants, and if you're able to run that much with the Gas you're useing now. I hope this isn't a street Motor with that much Compression.

Yes, it is a street motor. I wanted to get the car dyno'd this spring and i usually run a strong mix of pump and race gas. But, after the dyno session I'm afraid the tune may be too depended on the octane ratio thats being used. There for i would have hard time knowing the exact mix i have in the tank all times.

I am a Flight Engineer on a P3C Orion. The Navy use water/Meth in the 50s and 60s on turbo prop eng the reason is it for the most part that it super cools the air allowing expansion and the meth gives you a higher oct. fuel source. Now I cannot tell you if it will give any gain on reg asperated eng but gave me 60 hp on my Jetta turbo.
