It's still available. I'm one of the few idiots who actually went down to the local dealership and paid $80(!) for one
Three days later I get my Corvette Central catalog where they are available for $29. I suppose the CC tool is an after market product, but it sure beats the hell out of buying one for $80 just for brand loyaly reasons. :bs
One of my local dealers wants $57, you can get thme in Ecklers for around $30 if you don't care about originality. Some guys have bought the proper size Torx bit and put it in a B&D cordless screwdriver.
E-bay has them all the time...Or you can go to HomeDepot and buy a cheep 20 dollar cordless screwdriver with a bit to fit your bolts...and you can remove in style. :D
I bought my bit from the Wiha Quality Tools web site (2.50 plus shipping) and bought the Black & Decker cordless screwdriver from Wal-Mart ($24.99). http://www.wihatools.com/745ser50.htm
