My LT1 intake conversion in my 68 Vette is moving right along
I have the intake bolted on, distributor is in, fuel rails installed, however I'm running out of vacuum ports. The two on the pass side are occupied by the dist vacuum advance and air temp sender, and the other side has the PCV, power brake booster, and port to supply vacuum to the headlights. Need a port for the fuel regulator. Which port can I tee into without disrupting the vacuum signal to any of the other components?
Next question: Can a throttle body from a 90 Vette be used in place of the LT1 body without any issues?
You can use any of the vacuum ports, the one for distributer advance would work very well.
You can use a 1990 throttle body with no issues.
Yeah, I was thinking the line for the dist also since they're the same size and the vacuum ports of both components are pointed in the same direction. Wanted to be sure, thanks for the fast reply
