Can anyone post a pic of a 93 or later LT1/4 water pump? Appearently there was a change in 93(?). The upper radiator hose "T" was eliminated, to replace the input to the throttle body/heater core an outlet fitting was added to the pump. Well as many of you have done I want to bypass the throttle body on my 92. In addition I'm going to add a number of braided hoses and AN style fittings. I would really love to eliminate the upper radiator hose "T" otherwise I'd have to have a special AN "T" adapter made. Read $$$$ I realize I could make all this simple by just purchasing a later model pump, well I already have two new 92 style pumps. Now PurpleC4 gave me the idea to drill and tap the flat boss on one of my pumps. I need a pic of a later pump so I can see where the new fitting would go. Unfortunately I'm deployed away from home so I don't have my car as a source. Hope someone can help. :)
Glock, that is exactly what I was after, near as I can tell the change was made in 93. If you look at yours, my pump doesn't have that 90 degree tube coming out of it. I just needed to see where it wasas I'm going to tap mine for a 90 degree pipe to -12 AN fitting. These really help, looking foward to yours also Chuck. Thanks again you guys rock!

Yup, i remember that now. That 90* tube goes to the heater core I think (may be wrong). When I replaced my waterpump, they gave me one from a '92 :cry :cry :cry I had to take it off and go get another :(. That's why it took me like 2 days to replace my opti and waterpump... wrong parts (more than once no less).
