Ok, im rebuilding the engine and I figure I might as well get rid of the smog pump and the plumbing as well. Heres my three big questions.
1. What do I do about the vaccume line that run to the fuel pressure regulator?
2. What do I do about the two sensors that are part of the A.I.R system located just to the left of the ac compressor?
3. Can I get rid of the EGR valve on top of the lower intake manifold without any big problems??
Im new to the corvette world so I could use sum advice on this one. In fact ive owned the car for nearly a month now and have only got to drive it for about 30 mins. needless to say im excited to get it finised and tear up some pavement.

Connect it to the rear plenum port. There are 2 ports back there.Either one is fine. The FPR needs a vac line.
2. What do I do about the two sensors that are part of the A.I.R system located just to the left of the ac compressor?
Remove the sensors and Unplug the harness and tie them away.

Possibly...some people have with no ill effects. The best thing is to have the chip or prom programmed to not use the egr anymore. You can still leave the egr hooked up and get rid of the smog stuff...it wont hurt anything or rob performance with the egr.

I've heard some people just remove the fins inside the smog pump so that u wont have to buy a pulley. Can you do that?
You don't even have to remove the fins, if you spin the pulley with your hand you will notice that it spins very freely. Not sure of the weight advantage between a new pulley and the smog pump though.

If you don't want to program a chip, it seems like there's been a solution which uses a resistor to simulate the EGR (or somthing like that).
