I need a little help. About a week ago whenever I would go into neutral and let the car idle it would instantly spike up to 2500+ RPM. I found a broken IDLE vaccumm line and fixed it, but it still persisted.
2 days ago I took off the idle control switch, cleaned it up, and lubed up the throttle lever thing, put it back on and it ran great for 2 days, now its acting up again. Im pretty sure that the lever on the switch is sticking.
Is there any tips or tricks to free this up, or am I just giong to have to buy a new switch?
IAC is the canister shaped, electric valve. The throttle position sensor, is the thing with the lever. If the lever is sticking, replace it.
The throttle position sensor and minimum idle, should be re-set, after installation. http://www.lbfun.com/warehouse/tech_...ch%20Paper.pdf
