Anti-Lock
On my '86, I just had a light show up on my center info panel that reads
"Anti-Lock". I haven't done any type of work on the brakes or wheels. Anybody have any idea what this is about? I'd appreciate any help. Thx

The light simply means that your ABS unit has been removed from the loop electronically for some reason. You'll have to have someone pull the code to figure out where to start, then follow the diag. steps to figure out what is actually wrong. Most of the time it is a wheel speed sensor or tone ring problem (dirty sensor, rusty ring), but it could be the ABS unit itself. Right now your foundation brakes should function normally, but if you get into a skid your ABS will not activate to pulse the brakes.
