Just took a ride today [temp was 36 deg.outside NICE]. Coolant light came on about 40 miles into trip. Engine temp never went above 185 and looking at water levels thay seem fine. I'm guessing just a bad sensor? Only comes on when car reaches tempeture. What do you think.

Been in the coolant system lately?
If so -could need to burp/pack the radiator with a little more coolant. Wait until the engine totally cools then check the level. It may look OK with the engine "off" but start the engine with the rad cap still off then increase the RPM up to 1,000 or so and add more coolant with the revs still up then cap the radiator before you drop the RPMs. You'll need to add the coolant fairly quickly before the coolant gets too hot and starts to expand.
Another thing to check:
There is a single green wire that runs to the low coolant sensor in the radiator - ensure that the wire is still connected.
