I'm posting this for a friend with a 89 that has a stalling problem. It quit on him the other day and after checking things out thought it was the fuel pump. So that was replaced and now its only running a short time and then stalling. I'm printing out some info. for him to read his codes but I'm not sure will pull one. Anyway if someone could chime in with a similar problem with fixes it might save us a little time and frustration, thanks in advance.
changing the fuel pump probably stirred up some crap and put it through the fuel system. maybe into the fuel filter and regulator and then into the injectors.
The car starts and runs fine for about 1/10th mile and then stalls. I ran codes today and got none. Some friends are leaning toward a bad fuel relay but I'm not sure which one it is. So if someone could lead me in the right direction for that relay I'd appreciate it.

There is an oil pressure switch that backs up the relay, if it fails. You can test the circuits to see if there is power, using this schematic.
UPDATE: We found the problem ,the catalytic converters were plugged. We found someone with a scanner and it saved allot of time. Thanks to all for the help.
