Default Clutch Tightness

Ok ..Im stupid..But Before I start mucking with the pedal, can someon show a pic or define what the part is to replace (plastic Bushing) to make the clutch pedal soft again?

What made it hard in the first place? Did you put in a new clutch? Do you think the pedal assy. just needs lube?

Sorry True Blue ya gotta do better with describing your problem. By soft, do you mean that it requires less leg force to depress versus more when it's stiff? Cire96 :)

The clutch pedal has a pin sticking out to the right which goes through the hole in a clevis at the end of the clutch master cylinder shaft. On this pin is a plastic bushing. If the plastic bushing splits, the shaft will want to go off at an angle which increases the pedal throw to disengage the clutch and also increases the force required to operate the clutch pedal.
