Re: Head gasket? (siberianhusky911)
Could be a bad reman job. I had a reman engine put in my 1990 Laser. It took them three tries before they sent the correct engine! OBTW valve covers are not included in the reman. It is possible that the Jasper reman was just the bottom end, which would mean your shop would have to reuse your old heads, etc.
Take it back and have them fix it under the warranty.

It sounds like you have a bad reman. Could be head gaskets, could be poorly machined deck on the block or heads, could be warped heads, could be cracked castings, could be probably a bunch more things.
But one thing is clear, you need to take it back. You should not run that engine.
Reman's come two basic ways. 1) Short block, with crank, rods, pistons w/ rings, cam & lifters, and sometimes the pan (with oil pump) Or 2) Long block, a short block with heads, and definitely the pan and oil pump.
OBTW valve covers are not included in the reman.
Valve covers don't come with either, and are not a factor, here. If you bought a short block, the heads and head gaskets could be a problem. See my response to your "White Smoke" post.
