Default Front outer tie rod stuck

I'm changing my tie rod ends and the passenger side tie rod end and jam nut are both stuck. I got the drivers side off easily. I went so far as to use an 18 inch pipe wrench and I can't get the tie rod end loose. Any ideas?

Some decent heat should do it.

I have to buy a torch, should I just get a propane one? I was really looking for an excuse to buy this one, but I'm pretty sure its a cutting torch.

Soak it with penetrating oil and let it sit overnight. Do you have access to an impact gun?

I already soaked it in PB blaster and you can't get a impact gun on it. Only open end wrenches.

You are using 2 open end wrenches right? The left side has reverse threads compared to the right side. You might be trying to tighten the 2 nuts together.

What were your symptoms that made you change the tie rod ends?

Heat works everytime. For a handheld cheap torch, don't get propane, get a map gas torch. Its puts out more heat than a propane but looks the same(cartridge).I have a handheld map gas torch that I got from the hardware store & it actually works greatI cannot afford a cutting torch as I've been laid off work for awhile. But I will definately get one as its the best tool you can have. But those portable cutting torch kits are around $350
