ok im soooooo glad everyone is reading the post before being an expert.. i asked if there was a QUALITY cap and rotor set with BRASS terminals INTERNAL COIL and 4 HOLD DOWN SCREWS NOT HOOKS available for my vette and what the PART NUMBER IS.. not some 7.99 aluminum post cap and rotor junk but a GOOD QUALITY BRASS cap and rotor.. thats all nothing like what the specific gravity of 17% wine is or how fast a robin would be going if it was shot out of a cannon with X amount velocity just a part number to a GOOD cap and rotor that FITS

Even the Jegs catalog says the Accel 8132 fits the 89 Corvette.
Obviously the info. is not correct since the coil is not in the cap.

How about that, even GM is selling "cheaper" aftermarket components.

I don´t know, maybe all car brands are like that...

Might not help much, but found these.

For whatever reason it says for 90-91. I don't know what makes any other year any different in terms of the HEI cap and rotor.

Summit has the 89 listed as clamp down, which yours, is apparently not. Neither is my 85...

Anybody here have clamp down?
