cam advice
hello looking for advice for a camshaft was going to get a lpe 211 but when i called lpe they said they cant get the blank rods so need another option im thinking zz9 accell 211 or luanati im putting together a new motor heres what i have so far zz4 short block afr 180 heads 1.6 scorpian roller rockers slp runners ported plenum setup from rick thrasher going to get big mouth intake or somthing along that line also have gm roller lifters going to get headers and catback also dont know which ones yet so advice on those would be helpful to looking to boost up what it already does low end power with drivability thankin advance and please forgive my typing skills .

Sounds like youre on the right track for a fun street L98.
Think Erson made the 211 cams grinds someone correct me if Im off here. Lunati 256 is real similar 213/219 cant remember the lift for the life of me. Nice TPI cam

thats what im shooting for a fun ride iwas looking at the luanati its real close to the lpe 211 but has less lift but it does't say if it has the cast iron gear so as not to have to run the brass gear on distibutor

Lingenfelter 74211 Camshaft Specs: Hydraulic Roller 211/219 .530/.560 HR112
This was one of my final choices. LPE219 too. I ended up with a custom 214/214 cam with .340 lobes from Bullet. 108ICL/112LSA This is a better choice for the tpi setup you're building. (Bit more duration for the TPI tubes and a bit less for the AFR exhaust ports). Really, the perfect cam for your build.
Call BulletCams. They'll have it to you in a week.
I don't know about that cam blank B.S. either. Comp makes LPE cams now. LPE is prolly just out -- just like they were last year. Doubt they stock 'em anymore.
FWIW: If you get my recommendation, install at 4-degrees retarded for better top-end. (Especially if you have an automatic)
