Throttle response is related to the RPM that your cam is designed for,,, so if you want off idle response, my cam is no for you...
Plus when your car is being driven hard, all of your shifts and acceleration responses are occurring in a given RPM range, like 2800-4500 etc.
With my 406ci,,,, 425-RWTQ pushes me into this range and then HP takes over.
So throttle response is great for minimal overlap cams, my cam is a mid and upper RPM range cam

I was refering to throttle response while standing, in neutral.
This doesn't sound like a small overlap cam and I'd say
that throttle response is good!

lightweight or lack of engine accessories will improve rev throttle response. Tune also plays an importance.

ok gotcha. my fast classic was updated from bank to bank, to sequential. guys say u can tune on a stock computer, but i still have my doubts how close the tune gets, and how many hrs and phucking around it takes.....
hope to have a start up video of my 421 in the next few weeks.
let us know how many ponies, and how the driveability, and idle smooths out with the gen 7.

That is a true muscle car sound. That is the one thing I miss about going with a mild cam.

Sounds great Larry.
That cam should fit well with your intake and CID.
