Default novice question...

What does it mean to cut open the air box? i hear that alot.. is it a common mod? what are some other good mods, thank you!

basically you modify the cap over where the air filter is for better circulation. It give a small increase in horse power but unless you race quarter miles alot you probably wont notice a difference even with a K&N filter

This is exactly what it sounds like the box that holds your filter is modified and open. You can see examples in Eckler's.. good luck - this is a cheap mod - go for it.. :smash:
