LT1 Swap Questions.
Okay guys I am putting a LT1 out of a Z28 in my C3. Please help me here I have to drop it in and make the car look "normal" so they will let me keep it in my building. (risking loss of my car)
On the Z28 LT1 (1995) the accessory bracket is on the passenger side of the engine. To swap it into the C3 I have to install the Corvette bracket on the right side.
On all the pictures I have viewed of the Vette C4 the alternator is on the drivers side of the engine.
-Is the power steering pump located below the alternator on the same bracket.
-Where is the EGR air pump located on a Vette LT1?
-Additionally how different is the harmonic balancer from the Z28 to the Vette LT1.
-Are the belts the same length? What about the pulley grooves? Can I use a Vette Serp. Belt on a Z28 Alternator.
COULD SOME ONE PLEASE TAKE detailed pictures of the accessory bracket and sourding bolton/serp componets. It would help me greatfully.
