Any suggestions for powder coating four 1986 brake calipers.

My 08 Z06 calipers were powdercoated by Mike the Powdercoater (google the guy). Very happy with the result.

Holy freaking blue calipers! Those look nice. I think it's pretty amazing how almost every day when I log on I see someone asking a question I thought about myself once or twice, but never asked. I've been thinking this same thing, but I haven't asked because I'm still a little undecide on what I want to do with the brakes. I've heard of people upgrading to the C5 rotors & calipers, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do. Are the C4 brakes not sufficient? I'd powder coat my calipers like this in a heartbeat, but not if I'm going to end up wanting to change them out for larger brakes later... Sorry if I went off topic there.

A lot of people who do the C5 upgrade do it for track cars. They are not really necessary on the street unless you like slamming on the brakes to make your passengers wet themselves

I have an 87 C4 and will be upgrading to the C5. They sell the upgrade brackets for about 100 bucks and then its plug and play. I plan to install a 383 with in 60 days so for me stopping is very important coz I like to go fast (When it permits).

Jason at Painted with Powder(paintedwithpowder.com) has done a ton of powder coating for me, including my calipers. You can see my calipers on his web site under car parts. The best part is that he is a car guy.
