There is no such thing as a ford injector.. Fords injectors are supplied by Bosch, Siemens or Denzo. Gm injectors are Supplied by Rochester products till 97 Then Bosch and Delphi, In Chrysler, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo etc all share the same injectors as Ford except their Logo goes on them. The redtop Bosch pn 0280150945 sold by Ford Racing has been used in many different vehicles. But, it is all Bosch Just clarifying

It should also be mentioned that injectors rated for Ford fuel rails will flow slightly more in GM fuel rails.

For example, 24SVOs should flow 25.6# in C4 vette rails.

Yes....Ford doesn't make injectors, IIRC. BUT they work real well in Vettes. Just ask Jon at FIC.

I know what you mean, they were made for Fords and the used ones came out of a Ford. Many many car parts are made by subcontractors but if it came from a Ford, or says Ford, most people refer to it just as you did. Yes, you can use several different makes of injectors in your Vette. Some are rated at different fuel pressure than true Corvette injectors use. ie they may be rated at 39 lbs/hr rather than 43.5 lbs/hr. In addition, they may not fit your fuel rail or require modification. They may be a strange or foreign shape or color which might be noticed by a future buyer and raise questions about the integrity of your car. it is also possible that your ECM may not be able to accommodate some injectors and cause a rich or lean running condition. Also, be careful because injectors sold on auction sites or web sites may be rebuilt or modified by the vendor. Just clarifying.

Also don't buy from this jerk. You may end up with the wrong junk yard injectors and engine damage. He'll play games when you ask for a refund.

I was finally refunded all my money after I reported him to the California Attorney Generals Office. I can't believe that Ebay has him listed as a good vendor.

http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/

He has to have a legal disclaimer that lets him off the hook. Plus it can cost you more to return an injector than the original price that you paid. Basically he will sell you a junk injector and refuse to refund your money because the injector you returned is junk. He will charge $35.00 return fee plus 15% restocking plus shipping and then he will refuse to give you your money back. He's a real nice guy.

FIVEO Core Policy & Service Guarantee - Established in 2000
Fiveomotorsport SERVICE GUARANTEE POLICY: We honor all claims.
All fuel injectors are sold with a best-in-the-business 3 Year/Unlimited Miles Service Warranty.

Due to the complexity of the emission control systems, the manufacturer does not warranty the fuel injectors to pass emission control inspection solely on their own merit. Fiveo does not assume nor authorize any person, agent, distributor, dealer, repair technician, service facility, or company to change, modify, supplement or amend this Service Guarantee.

3.Only unopend/uninstalled parts will be refunded. Any part that has been installed is considered "used" and will not be refunded or exchanged.
4.All refunded parts are subject to a 15% handling, repackage, and/or restocking charge.
5.All parts are checked and reviewed based on the customer's claim.
6.The RA number must be writen on the outside of your return package.
7.Send all parts postage paid - we will not accept COD packages.
8.Be sure to package all return parts securely - please no loose parts.
9.Parts deemed ineligible for credit/core credit may be returned freight collect.
10.Any warranty adjustments are subject to a $35 service/handling charge.
This warranty covers parts sold for street use only. This warranty does not apply for off-road or racing use of fuel injectors.
Be certain of your purchase. Returns or exchanges on fuel pumps are not accepted.

CORE CREDIT POLICY: Be certain to include a copy of your receipt with your core parts.

•Only rebuildable manufacturer's original equipment cores will be refunded.

•Broken or missing pintles
•Severly corroded metal bodies

Also, if you have installed injectors that are not OEM you should have a tune. You could be running too rich or too lean. Over a long period this can lead to engine damage or at least damage to your cat. I have read about cats that glowed red hot because oversized injectors were installed causing a fire.

Good write up Kool. I remember when you went through this. It can happen to anyone who takes a chance and uses something that is not really intended for their car (especially if they are rebuilt (used) injectors). It's a PITA to change injectors in a L98 car and no one would choose to do it twice. Best to spend a few extra bucks and avoid the rebuilt, modified, Frankenstein injectors that where never intended for our cars. Glad it all worked out for you!

They were made by Bosch for Ford. Who ever orders them from the manufacturer gets their logo. We can have our logo on Bosch or Siemens if I order 10,000 or more pieces.
