First, I want to be clear that this is in no way meant to take away anything from this board!
I've created a small forum on my personal website specifically for owners and enthusiasts of the CrossFire equipped cars - both 82 and 84. I've done this because of the general attitude of so many who immediately slam the CFI as "junk", and because there is no sub-group here for these cars like we have for C4 ZR-1's. This gives us a place to post whatever we want about our CrossFire obsessions without all the negative comments.
There is no "for sale" section - it's discussion only.
Anyone with a CrossFire Corvette (or interested in it) is welcome to join! The board is located at
For the board mods here, if this is breaking any rules, my apologies in advance.

i just joined, myself. Long ago i did a home porting job on my factory cross fire manifold. It was quite succesful. Recently i swapped that manifold onto a vortec truck engine and installed it into my '84 to create a vorfire engine. It seems stronger still. It was slightly quicker in the 1/4, THAN MY OLD WORN OUT, OIL BURNING L83. I should have dyno numbers next week.
not sure if it is just me or not, but i think there should be a sub-board (under C4 tech/perf) for L98 tech, LT1/4/5 tech, and crossfire tech. would be much more organized

And a Azzhat/Internet bad *** forum for the slammers.
