Engine Running Hot? Check This! (Tip)
For some of you who have been around C4's for awhile this tip may already be on your to-do-list.
Today as I was getting ready to wash my 96 coupe, I decide to look up under the front end. Underneath the air dam and radiator. I couldn't believe it. Globs and globs of leaves. It looked like I just drove through a park during the fall when all the leaves are falling. I was able to pull, blow, and suck them all out. Even found a cigarette butt. Afterwards I took it out on the road and I believe it's running 3-5 degrees cooler.
This is something I will be checking from time to time.

This is how I've kept nearly all of that sort of debris out of the air intakes on both of my C4s:
This, or something like it, should have been standard equipment on all C4 and later Corvettes.
