I hope not they will have to hang me, wrap me in bologna and drop me in a bed of giant fire ants for what I have done.

Pete,
It is allways good when a new motor fires up especially with open headers!!!
My neighbors are use to it - I know the men in blue will show up if it is pass 10pm.
I try to be a good neighbor but the smell and sound of open headers can put me over the edge:-)

Your 1/4 miles runs are close - let us know how it turns out.

PS - I have a hurt converter - a 4400 stalling at 5300. Fixing and to the track again.

Lol.. Me too, Lets see the worst one was the nosy mean old lady next door that kept complaining about the smelly Stuff in my garage (I was using bondo and primer) so I put fish emulsion fertilzer in the hose end sprayer...late at night... and well sort of sprayed her swamp cooler with it.. Hey come on!! at least the Bondo smell wasn't bothering her anymore

I expected the juvenile bufoons to chime in. Pete, you are better than this group. I respect you and hope you see where I am coming from. I am sure this is not the group you want to identify with.

Wow.. Juvenile buffoons?? you have much neck trouble With all that staring down your nose at folks?
just a tiny bit on the judgmental over reactive side I believe. the man fired a car up with open headers, pretty sure you could just lighten up on it.. no actual humans were harmed in this heinous act he committed.

I dont believe I have ever actually been called a buffoon before... I kinda like the sound of it.. Got any other interesting labels or names you would like to blow the dust off of and trot out here? extra points for creativity.

Anyway Pete, I apologize for apparently fueling the fire that is dragging this off topic.. now bolt the mufflers on it before you get in trouble.

Dang I haven't been called a juvenile anything in 35 years.. felt pretty good actually.

Pete, I apologize for taking your thread off track. I admire your talent and hope you get where I am coming from.

I make it my daily routine to **** off the neighbors, though one is a car guy, but the other gay. I figure the gay one deserves to be pissed off, he makes out with other males in his front yard, drive way where ever, and always make sure to do it while i'm in the garage workin. Walk over to the 'ole chevelle and fire up the LS7 454 and let the open headers and .620 lift cam sing to him. the other neighbor normally walks over grinning if he's some. lol

Congrats on the new motor! Let me know when your heading to Numedia to try it out.

My neighbors are used to all the noise, the old guy next store actually loves the noise. Just watch out for that mailman Pat.

Pat has seen every bloody knuckle I received on this build. He probably thinks I am nuts. I mean, he has realized I AM nutz.

Numidia is turning into a fantastic track. Owner has been putting a boatload of money in it. New concrete to the 1/8 mile, and the rest of the track is diamond ground smooth. It actually felt like Englishtown. It is that nice now.
I'm in my "sixties" and would not have a problem if one of my neighbors ran open headers for a few minutes. What I really have a problem with is neighbors who think it is ok for their teenage boys to play basketball at midnight under the spotlights.

I hear mseven is awesome. My tuner is mad at me because I kept doing upgrades while he was doing the mail order tunes..

I want to learn too .. waiting to put my car back together again.
Good luck with the tuning.

I asked him that several months ago and his answer was no then. Maybe it's changed now, I don't know.
