Default Big Problem HELP! Seat seized!!

I have removed my '87 ratty leather seats and carpet however, the passenger side seat is locked all the way forward and I cannot get to the front screws to remove. I thing the switches for that seat were broken as well. Is there a manual way to overcome this so I can get these rails out of there? Thanks!

You pull out the seat cushion which allows access. There's a clip in the front lower middle that releases the cushion from the seat frame, then pull it up & forward to remove it.

You can disconnect the flexible drive shafts from their motors and chuck them in a drill to move them so that you can expose the screws.

See the three drive shafts in the top of your picture? They are attached on one side to the black box. That is the motor. The other side is attached to the rail. Disconnect them from the motor. Put the end into your drill and run your drill slowly and the track will move.

I am not in front of them right now, I will try this when I get home. I think however they're plastic and cracked (the drive-shafts) that is, but I will give it the old college try. Thank you.

I think they are steel almost spring like. Similar to those flex shafts sold in screwdriver kits. I think they are covered in a plastic tube.

Default It worked!

Did I ever mention I bought this Vette from a Biker guy who was also in a rock band? I had R-A-T-T-Y seats! Muck, money even broken beer bottles, were under there! It must have been glorious... Anyway I tried what the man on the 94z07fx3 said, using a drill on one end of the cable and to my surprize the chair moved completly back. The middle cable moves it back and forward the first cable lifts it up and down, I am not sure what the final cable does. Thanks for the advise, great group!
