Default Top Plenum and MAP Sensor Fitment Issues

Ok guys, I just bought a Top Plenum for my 96 Corvette and having some fitment issues. I followed the installation instructions included with it and decided to try velcro instead of the silicone sealant. I did this in the event I needed to remove the plenum, it wouldn't be impossible. Well, if you look at my pictures it will not stay down at the front and I dont know how else to keep it down? I think the fuel lines on the back are kinda pushing down a little on the back piece but I dont wanna bend the plenum any and have a hump in the middle. Plus, not to mention its about a 1/4" steel chrome plate! Any suggestions to make it look flush as at the front near the throttle body, it sits up about an 1/8" higher? Here are some pictures:

Secondly, in the instructions, step (4) four reads: "Move MAP sensor under Passengers side fuel rail, hooking vacuum port to MAP sensor with a short vacuum hose. BE SURE to mount MAP sensor with the vacuum port down to allow any moisture to drain out."

Ok, well first off, I see no where to mount this sensor under the fuel rail nor do I see a place to hook a vacuum hose up to. The only thing plugged into it now is a electrical wire which I left connected. I stuffed it down below where it normally sits and don't know if this will work? Can anyone look at my pictures below and tell me if this will work or tell me exactly how to complete this step to where it will work? Thanks for all the help!!

*For those who may not know or cant see it, the map sensor is under the vacuum hose and round sensor you see above it.

You will have to get vac from one of the other ports on the intake by Teeing into one of the existing lines shown in your 2nd pic and connect that to the MAP sensor which you are going to have to custom mount some where
The stock MAP fits with a grommet into a hole in the intake which will now need plugging
The MAP is a major sensor a engine

Rodj,
So, could I "tee" from the vacuum line that runs in front of this where its at? And there's currently no vacuum running to it now I dont think. And where would I mount it?
